Kay Connors, LCSW-C, is an instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Executive Director of the Taghi Modarressi Center for Infant Study, where she leads trauma treatment programs for children and families.
Sherri Hope Culver is a Professor of Instruction and directs the Center for Media and Information Literacy at Temple University, where she also directs the Certificate in Children's Media. She talks with kids about the impact of media in their lives on her podcast Kids Talk Media and explores media literacy issues in the television series Media Inside Out.
Megan Fromm, Ph.D., teaches at the Key School in Annapolis and is an adjunct lecturer in the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, where she teaches media law and ethics and media literacy. She is a former journalist and served as the Education Manager at the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE).
Lisa Guernsey is Senior Editor and Strategic Advisor in Education Policy at New America, where she also co-founded and directs the Learning Sciences Exchange Fellowship Program. She is the author of several books and publications, including Tap, Click, Read: Growing Readers in a World of Screens.
Susan D. Moeller, Ph.D., is Professor of Media and International Affairs and Director of the International Center for Media and Public Agenda at the University of Maryland. She is an award-winning expert, recognized for her university work and founding the Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change.
Kimberly Moffitt, Ph.D., is Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, professor of Language, Literacy & Culture, and affiliate professor of Africana Studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She is a media studies scholar and researcher who also serves as board President of NAMLE.
Faith Rogow, Ph.D., is a media literacy education advocate and innovator, founder of Insighters Education, and author of several publications, including Media Literacy for Young Children: Teaching Beyond the Screen Time Debates. As founding President of NAMLE, Rogow has shaped national standards for media literacy education.
Carrie Sanders is the Youth Services Coordinator for the Maryland State Library Agency, where she leads professional development, collaboration between libraries and schools, and youth services from preschool to young adults. She is an expert in early literacy, STEM, and information literacy.
Erin Senior is the Director of Digital Learning and School Library Media at the Maryland State Department of Education, where she oversees a wide range of digital learning programs providing support and professional development to educators and administrators.
